Becoming a Design Contestant

To become a contestant in the NPX Cortex-M0 LPC1100 Design Challenge, please follow these instructions:

1. Click on JOIN NOW in the upper right.
2. Click on the Design Contestant button.
3. Complete all the Profile Information in the box on the left.
4. If you have all the information about your design ready, complete the fields in the My Design box. If you're still gathering your ideas, no problem— you can fill this information in later.
5. Read the Official Contest Rules, then check the box confirming you have done so.
6. Click the Save button. You will receive an email from "LPC1100 Design Challenge" with the subject "Please activate your account".
7. Click on the link in the activation email.
8. Log in to the site using the username and password you selected. This will take you to your My Profile page where you can see the information you submitted and you can update your contact or design information.

Completing and submitting your design for approval

To notify the Design Challenge judges that your design is ready to be reviewed, click the "My design details are complete..." check box found below your My Design details on either the JOIN NOW Design Contestant form, or on your My Profile page when you are logged-in. Then click Save and the judges will see your design on the list waiting to be approved.

You will receive a confirmation email once your design is approved, and Digi-Key will prepare to ship your LPCXpresso toolchain developer kit.

Note 1: Approved designs will be displayed on the View Entries page as soon as we complete this page on the web site.

Becoming a Community Member

If you do not want to develop a design as part of the challenge, you can still participate in the Forums and interact with the designers by becoming a Community Member. Just follow these instructions:

1. Click on JOIN NOW in the upper right.
2. Complete the Profile Information fields on the Community Member tab.
3. Read the Official Contest Rules, then check the box confirming you have done so.
4. Click the Save button. You will receive an email from "LPC1100 Design Challenge" with the subject "Please activate your account".
5. Click on the link in the activation email.
6. Log in to the site using the username and password you selected. This will take you to your My Profile page.

Note 1: Community members can now switch and become Design Contestants. So if you want to become a Design Contestant, select the checkbox on your My Profile page that will allow Community Members to switch and become Design Contestants by completing the additional Profile Information and My Design information.

Submitting your LPCXpresso enhancement ideas

Whether you are a Community Member or a Design Contestant, we encourage you to submit your ideas and suggestions for enhancing the LPCXpresso toolchain developer kit. The best enhancement ideas will be selected to win a prize; see the Prize Central page and Official Rules for details. To submit your ideas, follow these instructions:

1. If you are not already a Community Member or Design Contestant, click on JOIN NOW in the upper right. If you are already a member, skip to step 6.
2. Register as either a Community Member or a Design Contestant
3. Complete the required profile information.
4. Click the Save button. You will receive an email from "LPC1100 Design Challenge" with the subject "Please activate your account".
5. Click on the link in the activation email.
6. Log in to the site using the username and password you selected. This will take you to your My Profile page.
7. Click the LPCXpresso Feedback menu in the Contact Us menu (only displays when you are logged-in).
8. Complete the required feedback information and submit your ideas.
